Overview
IEVA ("we", "us", or "our") operates ieva.com and the IEVA mobile app as a personal AI vitality companion. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Everything you tell IEVA is meant to stay yours. We use your information only to provide and improve your companion experience—not to sell it to advertisers.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. You may also provide your name, timezone, and notification preferences.
Wellness and journal data. IEVA stores the answers you share during onboarding, daily check-ins, weekly reviews, and journal notes. This may include information about your health, habits, mood, and goals that you choose to enter.
Usage and technical data. We collect information needed to operate the service, such as session tokens, API tokens for the mobile app, your timezone for daily check-ins, and basic server logs (for example, IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Contact enquiries. If you contact us through the website, we store your name, email address, and message so we can respond.
How we use your information
- Provide daily suggestions and a companion that learns what helps you flourish.
- Authenticate you on the website and mobile app.
- Send account-related emails, such as verification and password reset messages.
- Deliver optional daily check-in reminders you have enabled.
- Protect the service against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- Improve IEVA based on aggregated, non-identifying patterns.
How we protect your data
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Connections to ieva.com use HTTPS encryption. Access to member data is limited to what is needed to run the service. We design IEVA so your companion can learn from you without exposing your private answers to other members.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers to help operate IEVA, including:
- Email delivery to send transactional messages.
- Security checks (such as Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA) on forms to reduce spam and abuse.
- Hosting infrastructure where the website and database are operated.
These providers process data only as needed to perform their services for us.
Cookies and local storage
We use session cookies to keep you signed in on the website. The mobile app may store authentication tokens on your device so you can stay logged in. You can sign out at any time to end your session.
Your choices
Signed-in members can review much of what they have shared in the Your data section. You can update your timezone and notification settings at any time.
To request deletion of your account and associated data, use our account deletion request form. For other privacy questions or a copy of your data, please contact us.
Data retention
We keep your account and companion data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal information, except where we must retain certain records for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Children
IEVA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of IEVA after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
